Artist Alley

What is Artist Alley?

Artist Alley is a room of the convention designated for artists and creators to show, share and sell their original creations. It’s a great environment to showcase your work, speak with attendees and hang out with other artists.

What kinds of things are sold in Artist Alley?

Artists have sold all kinds of things over the years, from prints and posters, to key chains and bookmarks. Some artists even offer original artwork commissions just for you! Everything in the Alley must be of the artist’s own original creation which means use of another’s work or tracing will not be tolerated! The sale of fan art is acceptable as long as the drawing itself is original. No mature content will be allowed in the convention unless the staff gives consent and rules regarding its presence are followed.

Who can purchase spots?

All spots are allotted on first come, first serve basis and it doesn’t matter if you’re a professional, hobbyist or an amateur, anyone can join in! If you’ve got work to share, then feel free to sign up. For legality reasons, you must be 16 at the time of the convention to purchase a spot and have someone who is 18 or older to sign for it at the time of pick-up as with your convention badge. You must be pre-registered for your convention pass at the time of your Artist Alley table registration.

How much does it cost?

Spots in Artist Alley can be purchased either as one spot, which is half a table, or two spots which equals to one full table. For Animinitime there is also the option to purchase space for half the day. The costs are as follows:

FULL DAY, FULL TABLE: $15

FULL DAY, HALF TABLE: $12

1/2 DAY (9-3 or 4-10), FULL TABLE: $10

1/2 DAY (9-3 04 4-10), 1/2 TABLE: $7

When will spot registration be open?

Registration for Artist Alley for Animinitime Moncton spots will be open on:

June 4th, 2010, at 8:00PM Atlantic Time

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED

Animinitime Moncton registration will open at a later date. Remember that it’s first come, first serve and is a separate registration than your convention pass (which is required to register in Artist Alley)! The information form that needs to be filled when applying for a spot in Artist Alley will made available at that time, to avoid any early, and thus void, applications.

The full rules and guidelines of Animinitime 2010’s Artist Alley can be read here. Any questions regarding the Alley can be directed to the staff at artistalley@animinitime.org
