I haven’t actually (unless the pokemon movie counts) – so this would be a first
I have yet to see an anime in a theatre. I seem cursed to only find out about these things either a) the day after they happen or b) the day before I get paid.
Sadly I haven’t, but I really kicked myself for not going to the Eva showing a while ago. Seeing it on the big screen must be quite the experience.
I have not seen anime at a theater before, I live in a tiny town so the only things shown are mainstream movies. D: Oh well, I’ll try to get up to Halifax for the next anime showing!
Naw, I actually haven’t seen anime in a theatre before… I do want to though.
The only Anime I saw in theaters was Yu-gi-oh The Movie.
I really like Yu-gi-oh, and getting a free card when I went made the experience AWESOME!!!!
I bought the movie too!!
No, I haven’t gone to see an anime at the theatre because my parents disapprove, I really want to though!
The first Anime I saw in Theatre was actually Evangelion (I totally think I spelled that wrong, I fail XD;; ) back in October. It was AWESOME!
I went with some of my favourite people! The amazing Anime at Large club, as well as KAMP (Kings Anime and Manga Palooza), it was a fantastic event!
I’m with Jenn Embree on this one with the whole finding out the day after it happens and that it happens on a day where I don’t get paid or have the money to go.
It just happens to be my rotten luck that I go through these types of things.
Last time I saw anime in a theatre was Digimon! That was so long ago.
I’ve only seen one; Evangelion. It was great!
I’ve seen a couple of Miyzaki films in theaters (Howl’s Moving Castle, Spirited Away). Both were great because it was largely other fans in the audience. I also went and saw at least one Pokemon movie in theatres (I really wanted the special edition Mew card that came with the ticket).
The only anime I’ve seen in theaters was Pokemon Mewtwo strikes back. I live in a small town and we don’t get a lot. Still, I’d love to see more!
I saw Eva and that was actually amazing. I saw both the Pokemon movie and Yu-gi-oh! movies! Spirited Away was PHENOMENAL. Still love it.
I’ve only seen the live action Deathnote movies in theaters and they were awesome!!!!
first anime i seen on the big screen? digimon:P

I’ve gone to see alot of the anime movies that have been in theaters XD my best experience was probably the recent EVA movie, I went with a couple of friends so there was plenty of lols XD
No I haven’t seen any yet, but hopefully that will change when I win those tickets.
Well, I did see Princess Mononoke in a field while protesting the proposed third runway for Heathrow Airport. I was in a tent powered by solar panels and used to illustrate the environmental cost of industry. I had seen it before but had a bit more of an impact just then. Good times.
No I haven’t, I think most people haven’t because anime rarely ends up in the theatre. I DID however, see the anime-ish scene in Kill Bill in theatre, so that should totally count >D
i went to see Bleach 1 and evangelion in theaters and both times were awsome and the mood was enjoyably light.
I went to see Bleach in theaters, it was awesome.
I haven’t seen an anime in theaters yet, but i did go see the death note movie in theaters, it was great.
